Component

Coaching your School Leaders in S.M.A.R.T.

Brief Description

Full Description

On-site Coaching Sessions

QLD's intensive half-day, one-on-one on-site coaching provides schools with the opportunity to experience and model collaborative leadership skills in a real-time situation with experienced QLD professionals.

For system change to be effective, support and guidance at the school level is critical; and therefore, QLD will provide its most intensive work at the site level. Site-level leadership teams will be provided the support they need to assist all school-level staff in using the S.M.A.R.T. process. QLD will provide a "pool" of half-day on-site coaching sessions to be utilized by the district for site-level support for implementation assurance.

S.M.A.R.T. Tele-coaching

Throughout the school year, QLD will maintain routine communication with every identified school. QLD will provide a dedicated consultant who will remotely coach, mentor and guide the collaborative work occurring at the school level.

Tele-coaching sessions will be provided monthly during the school year to each of the identified campuses. The allocation of these days will be determined during the Project Fit/ Project Planning Phase.
