Dr. Judy Robertson is an educational consultant whose work focuses upon quality improvement and building leadership capacity. During the past several years, she has facilitated an Assistant/Associate Principal Academy for a district, led a cohort of administrative interns for a regional educational service center, and served as a mentor for administrative interns in their last semester of internship for a university.
Judy's educational career began as a science teacher. She served as a guidance counselor, high school assistant principal, instructional officer, director of student services, and chief evaluation officer in a large (35,000+ student population) suburban district. She also has experience as a junior college counselor and as adjunct faculty for three universities.
Judy received her bachelor's degree in education and her master's degree in guidance and counseling from The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Her doctoral degree (in educational leadership and cultural studies) was completed at The University of Houston in Houston, Texas. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas, and has served for three years as a national examiner for a national quality program. Judy has presented at the local, state and national levels and is published in a national guidance publication. She has visited elementary, middle, and high schools in Japan through participation in the Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program Scholarship. Judy lives in Houston, Texas.
