Jo Seidel, an educator for 30 years, brings a broad range of experiences to her practice. Within her 30 years in education, her experiences have ranged from working as a regular education teacher and teacher of highly able learners, specializing in differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learners including Title I, to that of providing long range technical assistance in reading, writing, problem solving across content areas, and school improvement processes. Jo has also worked as a central office administrator in staff development, curriculum, and assessment in an urban school district. Her Bachelor's Degree in Education was earned from Purdue University as was an endorsement in Gifted/Talented Education. Her Master's Degree was completed in Educational Administration from Ball State University.
In her role as an educational consultant, she provides consultation, facilitation, and training to multiple agencies including state service agencies, state departments, and school districts. Working with educators at all levels around the country and as a consultant for QLD, her work focuses on needs of administrators, educators, and school districts to provide technical assistance for continuous school improvement informed by best practices to promote collaboration and professional learning. Jo lives in Muncie, Indiana.
