Dr. Christy Reveles, QLD's Executive Director of the SMART Solutions Group/Coaching Division, is dedicated to supporting principals, leadership teams, schools, and districts as they build leadership capacity for continuous improvement and student results. Christy has over 17 years of experience as a professional educator, including bilingual classroom teacher, school principal, as well as county and state-level program administrator. In addition, she has extensive background and experience in working with students and educators in culturally and linguistically diverse school settings. Prior to joining QLD full-time, Christy built a full practice as an independent professional developer and coach, specializing in instructional and educational leadership coaching in high diversity, high poverty schools. Throughout her journey as a professional educator, Christy has continuously engaged in coaching and mentoring as a peer coach, district mentor teacher, new teacher support provider, teacher supervisor, and director of large-scale coaching and mentoring programs. Her vision is that one day, coaching in education will become integrated as a fundamental job-embedded professional development approach, practiced in all schools across the nation.

Dr. Reveles received her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne (CA). Her dissertation research explored the impact of instructional coaching on teachers' capacity to implement culturally relevant reading instruction. In addition, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Humboldt State University (CA); and her Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from San José State University (CA). Christy lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
